Remembering Al Nakba by Empowering!

May 15, 2011 is the 63 anniversary of Al Nakbeh (Catastrophe). The state of Israel was created on May 15, 1948 on the account of innocent Palestinian lifes who are the original inhabitors ad were forced to live in Diaspora and as refugees.

This Sunday is not a celebration or remembering a sad event in the history of humanity but a day to work together to empower the refugees of Palestine in Jordan.

This Sunday, there will be an opening of an exhibiotn by the late famous cartoonist Naji El Ali who was assasinated by the Mossad. The exhibition will display for the first time art work that was never published. Proceeds of the art work will go to sponsor the tuition of less fortunate refugee students in Jordan.

This event will run in Amman, Ramallah, Gaza, Haifa and Nablus
